Where Have 3 Months Gone?

Charleigh is now a little over 3 months old. Time really is flying by so quickly! Our little newborn is no more. She's developing a little personality and getting so strong. It's hard to believe how little she was looking back at her younger pictures of Charleigh. She's almost 14 pounds now and gets longer every day. She's wearing 3-6 month sized clothing perfectly right now, so we know she doesn't have much longer in them.

Charleigh truly has to be the happiest baby in the world! She's always full of smiles and coos! From the moment she wakes up in the morning to the last moments of the evening before she closes her eyes good night, she continues to melt our hearts with her sweet smile. She "talks" quite a bit and loves to get in on any conversation she hears going on. She is now showing some interest in toys. This afternoon, she actually grabbed hold of a rattle and shook it around. Her feet kicked with excitement as she realized she was making it rattle.

Her favorite time of the day is bath time in the evening. We have a great night time routine down that Charleigh LOVES! We first take a bath, washing up first, then splashing, playing, and talking. She gets cozy in a towel, lotions up, and gets on some cozy pjs...all the while talking to us and smiling. We read a few books, our favorite being "It's Pajama Time", and then gets a final feeding. She goes down in her crib around 8:30, and she wakes up happy as can be between 6 and 6:30 each morning! Quite the little angel!

I'm now back at work, working part time with gifted students Tuesdays-Thursdays. That's Charleigh's time to spend with Gramma and on occasion, her cousin, Kohen, too! She's really doing well with our schedule on workdays, and I love being able to have a four day weekend at home with Brian and Charleigh.

Here are some pictures from the last few months. I will get some Labor Day weekend pictures up later. We hope everyone is doing well!

Hanging with Aunt Meg and Kohen

A visit from Aunt Laurie and Uncle Mark

Kohen loves to share with Charleigh! He's starting to give her kisses and give her pacifier to her...we'll have to document that and post some pictures. Too precious!

Charleigh loves playing on this playmat at Gramma and Grampa's...she loves kicking the ball!

One of her favorite places in the whole world...her daddy's arms

Our first Sunday back to church...dressed in her "Sunday Best"

Out on Gramma and Grampa's new boat

Some "tummy time"...we're getting better and more tolerant of this time on our tummy...she's not the biggest fan of it

The sweetest smile!

Bath time fun! Charleigh loves these little finger puppets we play with in the tub...Francis the Fish, Ophelia the Octopus, and Tommy the Turtle. She talks to them and splashes around for them! It's so cute how she won't take her eyes off of them even though we're the ones doing the talking!

A lazy afternoon nap! Love the chubby legs kicked out!

Making her daddy so proud! We're excited that fall is on it's way...it means cooler weather and football season!! Go Tigers!! We'll get a Georgia picture up soon!

Wow! I can't believe how much she has grown. I'm planning a visit after Fall Fest (Oct.16-17). She really looks like a happy baby, can't wait to see her again. Give Charleigh a kiss from GREAT Aunt Kristy. Take care, love you guys, Kristy
