Charleigh's had some visitors!

We had a cookout over at our house two weekends ago to celebrate an early Father's Day and Uncle Mark's birthday while Aunt Laurie and Uncle Mark were in town to meet Charleigh. The weather was perfect to sit out on the back deck to eat some yummy grilled kabobs and spend time with the family.

This past weekend, Aunties Elaine and Kari came for a visit. They arrived Friday evening and stayed through Sunday afternoon. We had so much fun while they were here. Charleigh went out for her first Mexican lunch with Aunt Meghan, Kohen, and Anna at On The Border while Aunties Elaine and Kari were here. We also went out for a yummy southern cooking dinner. Brian left to go out of town on Saturday after dinner, so all the girls watched a movie together. On Sunday, we ran some errands together; and in between all that fun, Charleigh got loads of loving from her aunties (and of course, tons of pictures to document the whole weekend)!

Charleigh is truly an angel! She is such a great baby, rarely fussy. She's still sleeping really well at night, which we are so thankful for, and she's a great eater. We love listening to all her little noises and watching her take in her surroundings. She is an incredible joy!

Charleigh Ann Taylor Arrives!

We are so excited to share pictures with our family and friends as we dive into parenthood. Our perfect little girl, Charleigh Ann Taylor, was born at 11:05 AM on Monday, June 1. She weighed 8 lbs. and 5 oz. and measured 21 inches long.

Here are some pictures of Charleigh throughout our time in the hospital.

Proud new parents!

Sweet feet! Charleigh has some of the longest toes! We find her toes clasped together like you would your fingers!

Proud Aunties, Elaine and Kari!

All ready to go home! We made it!

Charleigh was so alert that first evening we were home!

Aunt Meghan had fun with Charleigh doing a "photo shoot"!

Since being home, Charleigh has been such an amazing baby! She is so peaceful and calm, just like Brian. We're feeling pretty lucky right now as she's been sleeping 7 or 8 hours straight through the night. She's a major "sleepy head"--that may be the one thing she gets from her mama! We hope that luck doesn't run out! She's getting to be a really good eater; although, she does have to be woken up to eat, otherwise she'd sleep all day long. We are so blessed to have Charleigh and thank God every moment for our sweet baby girl!
